The scent was inspired by Founder Ruta Degutyte’s desire to focus on the positive and find soothing self-care rituals and perspectives after a stressful and changing time during the pandemic Global. To her, this work smells like wrapping yourself in a priceless silk kimono. Being born into a traditional family made Ruta Degutyte a fearless and confident person. Her father, Algirdas Degutis, was a famous philosopher, author of books such as “Language, Thought and Reality” and “Individualism and the Social Order,” and her stepmother, Grazina Miniotaite, is a famous political researcher. Her mother passed away when she was very young, but she was also an intellectual. Ruta comes from a place where self-expression and one’s artistic perspective are encouraged.
Ruta Degutyte believes that everyone has the right to own a small, aesthetically pleasing item to carry with them in their lives, be it a bottle of Art De Parfum perfume, a perfect silk scarf or an exquisite painting.
