Narcotic is usually defined as illegal drugs with an Opium base. It can be said that the letter “V” is also an interesting thing from the perfumer. It represents Venus, or Aphrodite – a goddess from Greek mythology, whose functions encompassed love, beauty, desire, sex and fertility. She has a girdle that can charm anyone her heart desired.
This fragrance is so irresistible that Alessandro Gualtieri – Founder and also Narcotic V creator, proudly shared that: “The fragrance is the result of a quest for the overwhelming addictive intensity of female sexual power”.
Narcotic V main note is formed from the purest white flowers: Tuberose, Jasmine and Lily. I spend all my love over Tuberose: a seductive and beautiful white flower. Narcotic V is a very nice Tuberose scent. Unbelievable cleanness of it created a rare state: between the inner tranquility and lusts of the flesh.
AUTHOR – ALESSANDRO GUALTIERI
Alessandro Gualtieri is an Italian perfumer who is known for his avant-garde approach to creating fragrances. He learned perfumery through a combination of formal studies in Germany and outside lessons from an Italian ex-pat he met at a bar. He built his reputation by working with major fashion brands such as Fendi, Versace, Helmut Lang, and Diesel before founding his own perfume line, Nasomatto, in Amsterdam.
What sets Gualtieri apart from other perfumers is his refusal to publish ingredient lists for his fragrances. Instead, he chooses to describe the inspiration behind each scent, allowing the line to first communicate each scent’s creative essence and leaving the actual notes for the wearer to contemplate over time.
