Varanasi is the first chapter of a new path, the ‘Timeless Trilogy. The perfume is inspired by a trip to India made in 2017 and it tells what India left in my heart, mind and soul.
Varanasi is also the perfume that tells the deep bond of friendship and sharing of the journey, experienced as an unique bond, born among the people who have lived this magical and true experience. Varanasi has no compromises, I wanted it to be and to tell the visceral emotion that still today that journey transmits to me.
Varanasi is a non-place, sacred and profane, where the encounter between “smells – perfumes” is contrasting and magnetic; each of the components contains an important and significant aspect of our trip to India.
The magic of this perfume comes from the authentic soul of India, a land of scents and beliefs. Varanasi is my India, it is our journey to India, a set of fragrant nuances that tell a small part of this place. When you listen to Varanasi, imagine the water, flowing in the bowels of the earth, touching the roots of everything, nourishing our soul.
Varanasi is an olfactory mandala.

Olfactory sensibility is what distinguishes my creations from those of another, it is the ground on which I have built my work today, it is something material and ethereal at the same time: material because it is made of experience in choosing the best raw materials and building the perfect accord: exercise, study and method; ethereal because it is the life of each of us that is told differently, in my case through travel, poetry, nature, music, art. Ethereal ties that finally lead to perfume something I call the olfactory memory of life. An end point, where an alchemical balance is reached between the material part of this work that is chemistry and the poetry of life, which is its spiritual component.”
