In Vietnamese culture, pomelo blossom is one of the few flowers enjoyed both for its scent and its flavor. People make syrups, sweet soups, and use it in traditional dishes as a singular aromatic ingredient. Mothers often pick pomelo blossoms to brew hair rinses or bath water—the gentle fragrance lingering in hair and on skin, and carrying childhood memories with it. Quietly, pomelo blossom has woven itself into daily life, leaving impressions on sight, smell and taste across generations. Pomelo Blossom Sorbet is KIRA’s recreation of that beauty: a pristine white-floral fragrance that is neither cloyingly sweet nor overly feminine, but cool and transparent—like an early summer morning when pomelo blossoms are in full bloom, their scent drifting from the porch. Through Pomelo Blossom Sorbet, we aim to share the memory of a beloved flowering season deeply rooted in Vietnamese culture. It is also a fragrance for white-flower devotees seeking a fresh, unexpected facet in their scented journey.
