The opening stage was filled with lanterns and paper umbrellas, the rustle of silk kimonos under the blooming Cherry trees – the sound echoed from the Opera House in a distant country. The scent is reminiscent of Cio Cio San’s happiest days in “Madame Butterfly.” Opening with a refreshing scent of Yuzu, Lemon and Ginger combined by an abundance of floral notes.

 

The scent of flowers welcomes the early morning sunshine, in the middle of the clear space radiating from Thanh Yen garden. Peonies and Cherry blossoms are gentle and pure, gradually blooming into a sweet, delicate taste. Lychee is a very special highlight, blending dark juicy fruits, soft like roses. Next to an oolong teapot, eyes facing the door frame, nostalgia intensified, creating a brilliant ethereal ending.

 

Cio Cio San is a serene song that recalls the romantic spring of old Japan with heartbreaking clarity. Where the main character lives in the guise of the happiest memories, the love of youth and fragile nostalgia as her own name.
